As per the report for last half of 2015, about 39% of the applications got invitation under Express Entry Visa were from abroad or out of Canada.

Since they started the point based system and will pick up the cream from top as per the points, at first they picked all clients or applications who are already in Canada who were making really good points for Canada Permanent Residency. This was because they were working in Canada at that time, which was giving them good or extra points.

But now the things have changed and the points have come down, which means that all who are from abroad and getting good points, mainly for professionals with good experience and good English are getting called for moving to Canada and settle their life in Canada. So as per the news, in the last half of the year 2015, about 39% of applications were picked from abroad, rather than within Canada.

So, as per now under 2016, we think most of the applications will be picked from abroad to get an invitation and apply for Permanent Residency after invitation for Canada. With this visa they can settle or live in any state of Canada and work and live life in their future. Moreover, do not have to go as a single applicant, can move with the family too i.e. including the spouse and children.

All who need help, contact www.goforvisa.com for the same.

Explore its Job Market First

There are many reasons to why people choose New Zealand as their immigration destination. Apart from being a clean, beautiful and less crowded country, with its safe and secure environment, New Zealand (NZ) also lets its inhabitants to have a balanced lifestyle. Additionally, New Zealanders are also famous for their warm hospitality, which naturally makes them friendlier towards immigrants.

New Zealand has ample job opportunities, and this is what primarily attracts foreign nationals. However, what gives New Zealand the edge over other international job hubs is that here people not only get to build a career, but to have a life as well. In addition, NZ also has a very efficient and transparent immigration process for the requirement and selection of foreign workers. However, if you want to migrate to NZ to work here, then it is necessary to explore and understand its job market first.

Analysis of NZ’s two main internet boards state that there was a net growth of 15.4% in job vacancies in 2013. And, according to a government report the NZ economy will add over 100,000 jobs by 2016, which means a 4.4% growth. Strong job growth is expected in Auckland and Canterbury regions in construction and utilities industries. Additionally, managerial and other professional jobs are also in high demand. However, on the other hand, results of other surveys constantly tell that NZ employers are constantly facing the challenge of finding skilled workers locally. And this opens door for overseas workers.

Getting a job in New Zealand is easy for overseas professionals and workers, especially if they have the right skills. The country continuously faces immediate and long term shortage for skilled workers in a number of industries. Consequently, the government maintains a list of occupations that have shortage of skilled workers and encourages employers to attract foreign workers. Additionally, the NZ government also offers a friendly immigration policy to ensure an easy admission of overseas workers in the country.

The list of industries that are currently facing immediate or long term shortage of skilled workers is as follows.

Agriculture and Forestry

Construction

Education

Engineering

Finance and Business

Health and Social Services

ICT and Electronics

Oil and Gas

Recreation, Hospitality, and Tourism

Science

Telecommunications

Trades

Transport

In case, you don’t have professional skills in an occupation in the shortage list, even then you can migrate to New Zealand as a skilled migrant. For that you first need to get a job offer from a New Zealand employer who could not find a local worker for the vacancy. In order to reach the employers you can upload your professional profile to a number of job portals. Some of the notable job portals include www.workingin-newzealand.com, www.workhere.co.nz, www.newkiwis.co.nz, and www.seek.co.nz.

After you have been nominated for a skilled position in NZ, then you can apply for a New Zealand work visa. And to make the visa process easier, you can also take assistance of a registered New Zealand immigration consultant.

Denmark is no longer only an international job hub, but is
becoming an international education hub as well as is evidenced by the increasing
number of overseas students coming to study in Denmark. Apart from high
standards of education, the privileges students get in Denmark make ita favorite
education destination. There are so many benefits of studying in Denmark, and
some even sound too good to be true.
Yes, we know it is too good to be true, but it is a fact. If
you are a citizen of a European Union country or have come to study in Denmark
under a student exchange program then you need not pay any tuition fee for your
studies. The Danish government also offers several scholarships and runs
funding programs to aid overseas students who are required to pay the fee.
Additionally, if the government of your home country provides you a scholarship
or monthly stipend for your studies, then it is quite easy to continue to
receive it while studying in Denmark.

The Tier 2 visa is the most popular way to migrate to the UK. This visa allows skilled workers of non-EEA (European Economic Area) countries to work in the UK. However, to become eligible for this visa you must first be sponsored by a UK employer for a vacant post in the UK. Your sponsoring employer must have a valid Tier 2 sponsorship license. Also, you need to submit the Certificate of Sponsorship (provided by the employer) while applying for the UK Tier-2 visa.

The Tier 2 visa has four categories.

General

This category is for those foreign nationals who are migrating to the UK to fill skilled positions which cannot be filled by native and settled skilled workers in the UK. The annual cap on the number of Tier 2 visa for general category is 20,700. However, people with an annual salary of more than £150,000,who migrated to the UK under this category, are not included in the cap. The maximum stay under this category is 5 years and 14 days, which can be extended by another 5 years.

Intra Company Transfer

This category is for those foreign nationals who are being transferred to a UK branch of a multinational company. This category is further divided into 4 sub-categories. The validity for each subcategory is different. Here are the details.

Long-term Staff: For employee transfer of more than 12 months with maximum stay period of 5 years and 14 days

Short-term Staff: For employee transfer of up to 12 months with maximum stay period of 12 months

Graduate Trainee: For employee transfer to graduate trainee program for specialized roles with maximum stay period of 12 months

Skills transfer: For employee transfer to gain and pass knowledge and skills in the UK with maximum stay period of 6 months

Sports People

This category is for elite sports persons and internationally recognized coaches. The visa application must be endorsed by the concerned sports governing authority. It must also prove to the UK immigration department that applicant’s employment will promote that sport in the UK. This visa remain valid for 3 years, however, you can also apply for a 3 years extension on it.

Minister of Religion

This category is for those foreign nationals who have been offered a position in the UK within a faith community such as minister of religion, missionary, or a member of religious order. Under this category the Tier-2 visa remains valid for 3 years, which can be extended for another 3 years.

If you are eligible under Sports People category but your intended stay period is less than one year, then you should apply under the Tier-5 visa. Similarly, people who are eligible for Minister or religion category should apply for Tier-5 visa if their intended stay period is less than 2 years.

Having knowledge of different categories under the Tier-2 visa will help you selecting the right visa category while applying for a UK visa as a skilled worker.

Anyone who is not a citizen of a country under European Economic Area (EEA) has to go through the UK’s point-based 5-tier immigration system to migrate to the UK. As is clear from the previous statement, there are 5 categories to immigrate to the UK, with each tier representing one category. For each tier there is a separate point-based evaluation system, with different sets of factors on which the points are awarded. Also, the minimum points that applicants are required to earn to have their visa approved are also different for different tiers.

Let’s discuss each tier one by one.

Tier 1

The Tier 1 visa is for those non-EEA citizens who can be considered as ‘high-value’ immigrants. This includes entrepreneurs, investors, artists, and other individuals with exceptional talent. On this visa, you can work in the UK in many jobs without being sponsored for them, as well as be self-employed. You can also bring your family members on this visa. Initially this visa remains valid for 2 years, but you can apply for extension to stay in the UK for up to 5 years. However, from 6 April 2015 the visa extension on Tier 1 visa will be closed.

Tier 2

To migrate to the UK under this category, you first need to get sponsored by a UK employer. Your employer also needs to prove to the government that the nominated position cannot be filled by any native or settled skilled worker in the UK. While applying for this visa you need to submit your certificate of sponsorship. This visa remains valid for a maximum period of 5 years and 14 days. However, you can apply for a 5 years extension if your total stay in the UK is not more than 6 years.

Tier 3

The Tier 3 visa was for low-skilled overseas workers to fill the shortage of unskilled workers in the UK. However, on 25 March 2013 the Tier-3 visa was shut down completely, since according to government the UK no longer need unskilled workers from outside the EEA.

Tier 4

This tier is for overseas students who want to study in the UK. To apply for this visa, you first must be offered a place on a course at a UK educational institute. Also, you can only apply for this visa if you are older than 16 years. Additionally, you must have a sound knowledge of English language. The validity of this visa depends upon the length of your course. The student visa also allows you to work in the UK with some restrictions.

Tier 5

This category is for temporary workers and is divided into 6 subcategories - creative and sporting, charity workers, religious workers, government authorized exchange, international agreement, and youth mobility scheme. On this visa you can stay and do voluntary or temporary work in the UK for 12 months. You can also bring your family members to the UK.

Understanding the UK immigration tier system will help you in choosing the right visa while migrating to the UK.

In the recent years, Denmark has been continuously ranked as
the happiest nation in the world. In fact, it is not surprising that most
people who migrate here on study, work or residence permit eventually become
Danish citizens.

There are many ways to acquire Danish nationality. A child
born to a Danish parent, whether outside or in Denmark, automatically becomes a
Danish citizen. Also, a child adopted by a Danish parent through a legal
adoption process acquires Danish citizenship automatically. Citizens of Nordic
countries, including Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden can become Danish
citizen by declaration. And people who have migrated here from other than
Nordic countries can become Danish citizens by naturalization.

To become a Danish citizen by naturalization, you first need
to have permanent residence in Denmark. To become eligible to apply for Danish citizenship, migrants have to show specific tenure of Danish permanent
residency. This tenure varies according to the nature of their migration. Also,
the residence should be uninterrupted, although under special circumstances
such as family illness and child education, the government can allow an
interrupted residence of up to 2 years. Here are permanent residency
requirements for different categories:

If you are married to a Danish citizen, then the government
may allow you a residence absence of more than 2 years. For that, you must have
a continuous residence of at least 3 years, and must exceed your period of absence
in Denmark. Additionally, if you marry a Danish citizen working in a foreign
country then your marriage period in the foreign country can be considered as
residence in Denmark. It is also important to note here that Nordic country
citizens must also have a minimum permanent residence of 2 years before they
can acquire Danish citizenship.

Usually, people have to lose their original nationality in
order to obtain Danish citizenship, since Danish immigration policy is quite
restrictive about dual citizenship. However, the new government is trying to
bring some reforms in Danish immigration policy to make it more liberal towards
dual citizenship. In June 2014, the government was able to have the multiple
citizenship bill passed in the Parliament, which is expected to come into force
in summer 2015. It will also allow Danish people, who had given up their
nationality to gain nationality of a foreign country, to reclaim their Danish
citizenship.

Australia has a robust job market, which usually remains relatively untouched at the times of global economic crisis. In addition, Australia has a quite low unemployment rate, which according to a recent report was a little above 6%. Interestingly, the reason for even the 6% is not the lack of job opportunities, but the lack of local skilled workforce.

Australia government continues to bring new reforms in its immigration policy to attract foreign skilled workers to come and become a part of Australia’s thriving economy. The government also encourages its employers to hire skilled workers from across the world. To achieve this target, government offers quick visa processing for those foreign nationals who have been sponsored by an Australian employer to work in Australia. However, there still remain a lot of vacancies for foreign skilled workers. And to solve this issue, the government offers the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189), so that those overseas workers who are not sponsored by an Australian employer can apply to work in Australia.

If you are below 50 years of age, have vocational knowledge of English language, and have professional skills that are in high demand in Australia, then you are eligible to apply for the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189). To apply for the subclass 189 visa, you first need to submit an expression of interest (EOI) in which you need to provide your personal and professional details. Before submitting your EOI application you need to go through a suitable skills assessment in which you are awarded points based on your age, education qualification, work experience, and English language proficiency.

The EOI you submit will then be added to the EOI pool, where your application will be ranked against other EOI applications. Potential EOIs will then be selected by Australian employers. After that the selected EOIs will be sent the letter of invitation by Australian government to apply for this visa. However, you become eligible to apply for this visa only after providing the following proofs.

You are nominated by an Australian employer for an occupation in a relevant skilled occupation list

Your skills assessment score is as per mentioned in your EOI

Other proofs for all the information you have provided in your EOI

The subclass 189 visa is a permanent residency visa, which lets you bring your dependent family members to Australia. The maximum period you can stay in Australia on this visa is 5 years. After this period you need to either renew your visa or apply for another valid Australia visa to continue your stay. While your visa is valid, you can work, study and live in Australia without restrictions. On your subclass 189 visa you can also apply for Australian citizenship, as well as sponsor your eligible relatives for permanent residency in Australia.

Your EOI plays a crucial role in visa processing of subclass-189 visa. Therefore, it is recommended to hire an experienced visa consultant while preparing you EOI application to make it more credible.

Those who have a job ofer from an employer in New Zealand, want to gain work experience or work after studying, want to join a partner and work have to fill in the application for temporary work visa.

Requirements of temporary work visa are:

Once the person is granted the work visa he should take care of few important things for e.g. the work must be in accordance with the conditions of the particular work visa granted, abide by the laws of the country, should stay only for the period mentioned in the visa. However, citizens of New Zealand or who have a residence visa, Australian citizen or holder of current Australian permanent resident visa do not need temporary work visa. People who visit for business negotiations, short term sales trip, official trade missions recognised by the Government of New Zealand can enter New Zealand on a visitor visa.

Various other categories under which people apply for temporary work visa are:

If a person has a job offer from an employer in New Zealand and do not fall under the categories of Specialist workers, he can apply for Essential Skill Work category. The employer will have to show that the job is included in the Essential skills in demand list and that they have tried their best to find a native to fill the position.

Specific Purpose or Event Category is for people who want to work temporarily for any kind of event, show or for certain professional reasons.

If a person is tour guide or escort then he has to apply for a Specific Purpose Work Visa and if he is a Chinese national then he has to apply for China Special Work visa.

Students or trainees who want to gain work experience in New Zealand as part of their course requirement and those who want to work after successfully completing their course have to apply for temporary work visa.

Work Exchange Scheme category is for people who want to take part in this scheme which is pre-approved by the Government and Immigration Authorities in New Zealand.

There are other specialised fields in which people want to work for e.g. chartered foreign fishing vessels, interpreters from Japan, Thai chefs, seasonal worker in horticulture or viticulture industry and members of missionaries and religious institutions. Each of these categories has to positively apply for temporary work visa.

Chinese nationals who are qualified as chefs, traditional Chinese medical practitioners, Mandarin teacher’s aide, Wushu Martial art coaches and tour guides can enter New Zealand on this category of work visa. Similarly, Philippines Nationals who are qualified as registered nurses, farm managers or engineering professionals, Vietnamese nationals who are qualified as chefs or engineering professionals, Indonesian nationals who are chefs, halal slaughters and Bahasa Indonesia teacher’s aide can apply for this visa.

On certain grounds a person can be denied a visa if he is unlawfully staying in New Zealand or if a person is not eligible under section 15 & 16 of the Immigration Act 2009. Person must hold a valid work visa before starting to work in New Zealand. Partners and dependent children cannot be included in the same application. They will have to apply separately for visitor, student or work visa. For a longer stay person has to apply for further work visa. The application forms can be applied in New Zealand or in the overseas offices.

Due to numerous reforms in its immigration policies, Canada has
emerged as a popular study destination in past two decades. In comparison to
other top education destinations in the world, Canada immigration policies are
more welcoming. Canada’s close tie-ups with the US, the leader in international
education provider, give international students another reason to come and
study here. In addition, many people who want to work in Canada first choose to
get a professional degree in Canada, since Canadian credentials are of more
value in getting jobs in Canada.

Before applying for a student visa for Canada, you must get
a letter of acceptance by a recognized education provider to study full-time in
Canada, since only after that you become eligible to apply for it.

After receiving a valid letter, you can begin with the
process by obtaining the Canada student visa (or study permit) application form
from CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) website. You can either fill the
form online (by creating a myCIC account) or have a print copy of it to apply
through a paper application; but the online process is faster. Keep an
internationally recognized credit/debit card and electronic copies of all
essential documents ready, if you are applying online.

The documents you provide while applying for a Canada student visa must include details regarding your course such as course name,
name of the education provider, duration of the course, fee of the course, etc.
In addition, you also need to provide documents related to your health
insurance, and for proving that you are capable of supporting yourself
financially during your stay in Canada. After you have filled in all the
details and have attached all the essential documents, you can submit your
application to CIC.

For those who want to study in Quebec province, need to
apply for a certificate of acceptance, called CAQ, issues by the Government of
Quebec. To get more details about the documents and other required
certificates, you can either check for your nearest visa application center here or opt
for an immigration consultant.

Despite all the buzz about how difficult it is to get a USA visa, getting student visa for USA can be surprisingly easy if you carefully follow the below given steps.

1. Fill the Application form carefully: After an educational institute in the US has invited you or accepted your application to study there full time, it will send you the application form for student visa.

Take extra precautions while filling the details, and make sure that all the spellings are correct. Your name and other details that identify you as an individual are thoroughly checked by USA immigration authorities during security clearance, and a minor spelling error can delay your visa approval.

2. Make an Appointment for the Visa Interview: Student visas can be issued up to 120 days before your course starts, and it is your responsibility to make an appointment for your visa interview during this period.

To begin with it, you can log on to www.usembassy.gov and locate the website of the US Embassy in your country, where all the information regarding making an appointment is provided.

First you need to pay a fee of US $200 (SEVIS fee) for the resources used to record your stay in the States. In addition, you also need to pay US $160 at the US embassy in your country for your visa application processing. SEVIS fee must be deposited at least three days before the visa interview and you need to display its receipt during the interview.

3. Fill the Non-Immigrant Form: This form also needs to be presented during the interview. The form can be filled online and to get the form and instructions on filling it click here. Upload your photo for the form as per the instructions and take another copy of it with you for the interview.

4. Prepare for the Visa Interview: This is the most crucial part and you require a good deal of time for it. Therefore, it is advised to apply for the visa in advance so that you can prepare for your visa interview well enough.

From what you wear to how you speak and present yourself, everything plays an important role during the interview. You will be asked to provide details regarding your intended stay period, how you will financially support yourself during your stay in the States, etc. Prepare to answer all the questions clearly and completely.

Taking assistance of an immigration consultant can also be of great value while preparing for a visa interview. And Go For Visa is the name you can trust on in this context. At Go For Visa, we not only guide you about the requirements of the visa process but also help you to prepare for your visa interview effectively.

The Singapore Employment Pass (EP) is a type of visa allocated to foreign entrepreneurs, managing directors as well as shareholders in order to permit them to establish and control their business in Singapore. However, in some cases, EP can be also considered as a work visa issued to managers, supervisors, senior workers and employees with specific skills.

It is common myth that a strong educational background will allow an individual to get qualify for EP. However, MOM puts some exceptions and offers work visa to only those applicants who have exceptional professional expertise even if they lack in the educational criteria. As per the agency, this particular visa has got three categories which are generally based on the fix monthly salary of an applicant -

Q1 Pass - This is given to applicant whose monthly income is more than S$2,500.

P1 Pass - This is offered to applicant who has a monthly income of more than S$7,000.

P2 Pass - This is issued to foreign candidates who take fixed monthly income which ranges from S$3,500 to S$7,000.

For employees and professionals, the basic criteria for Singapore Employment Pass application include -

Specialized abilities and skills

A renowned college degree from a recognized school

A fixed monthly salary of at least S$2,500

Professional qualification

Several years of work experience

Apart from these five important factors, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) also considers some other aspects such as current citizenship, applicant's age, his roles and responsibilities in a organization he is working with.

There are certain cases in which MOM will decline applications which lack in supporting documents. However in such scenario applicants can proceed for an appeal and submit some valid records showing their eligibility for EP to the agency. Most of the times, it takes more than 3 weeks for the agency to evaluate the candidate’s appeal.

However, Employment Pass should be renewed after every 2/3 years, depending on it validity. A person will be notified by MOM requiring him to renew his visa one month before its actual expiry date.

One important thing an applicant has to note is that whenever there is a change in employer, MOM must get inform which will then review candidate’s professional qualifications as well credentials of the employer. There is no need for existing EP holders to revoke their existing work pass as agency conducts the revocation process as soon as an applicant has entitled with the new visa.
