Applying for Spanish Visa?

If you want to stay in Spain for shorter or longer duration then Spanish visa is a must-have thing. However, obtaining the same in quick time is bit tedious process. One has to provide all necessary documents to visa officials and fill out every single detail without making any mistake. Besides this, an applicant has to apply in person at consulate. If your visa is turned down during your first attempt then you have to follow some additional steps again and again.

Before applying for Spanish visa, it is always recommended to do some proper planning. The documents you will need include passport, medical insurance details, no objection certificate (NOC) from local police department, 4 passport size pictures, medical certificate from your family doctor and  marriage certificate in case you are married. If you don’t have a passport, you have to apply for it on immediate basis. In order to obtain Spanish visa, your passport must have at least six months of validity left.

In order to get visa application form, you can directly contact Spanish Embassy or download it from website of Spanish Embassy. Fill all the details with genuine information and attach photocopies of all the documents mentioned above. In case, you forget to attach any of the above mentioned documents, your visa approval may be at risk.

In order to obtain NOC certificate from your local police station, you have to tell them the real intent behind your visa application. In case, you have been frequently shifting from one place to another, then take NOC from the police station of place where you have spent maximum amount of time. You also need to go through proper medical exam in order to obtain medical certificate. During your medical exams, if it is found that you are suffered from some serious disease then you have to cure yourself before applying for the Spanish visa. In order to tackle with future medical hassles, you also have to insure yourself with right amount of medical cover. 

After collecting all the necessary documents, you have to enclose them in stamped and self addressed envelope. Besides this, you would also require to get a money order of $92.40 as consulate won’t be accepting personal checks or cash. With correct information entered on your visa application form along with all the necessary documents attached, there are high chances that you will get your visa in quick time.
